Traditional Natural Mead

In our mead we try to store all the healthy substances that honey contains. Therefore, we do not heat or otherwise treat the honey before fermentation and we do not clarify, filter or sulfur the final mead.

Apiculture Tomáš Blaškovič

We exclusively make our mead from honey produced by beekeeper Tomáš Blaškovič. Tomáš takes care of 300 beehives. He travels with his bees around western part of Slovakia. He also has three bee families directly in the Presidential Garden of Grasalkovic Palace. Office of the Slovak President use honey from these bees for representational purposes.

Our mead is made from fine raw flower, linden and acacia honey.

Spontaneous fermentation and long aging

We make our mead in the traditional way. We do not heat or otherwise treat honey. We ferment spontaneously and keep the mead in oak and acacia barrels for at least 24 months. We do not clarify, filter or add sulfur or other preservatives to the mead. We make three types of mead – Natur, Herbal and Tea. Natur is pure mead without any additions. To Herbal Mead we add wild thyme, salvia, hyssop and linden flower. And Tea Mead we make with green tea Japanese Sencha.
