Rosehip Wine
Everlasting wine
Best time to pick up rosehips for wine is after the first frosts. Then the rosehips are fully ripe, soft and filled with nice tasty marmalade. The wine itself needs a lot of time. The older the wine is the better. We keep the wine at least 3 years in oak and acacia barrels but maturing continuously ongoing in bottles. This wine is immortal.
Rosehips contain a lot of healthy substances, especially vitamins and trace elements.
They are used in the treatment and prevention of many diseases. Due to the high content of vitamin C rosehips are also called the citrus of the north. Rosehip wine is a perfect partner for long winter evenings by the fireplace.
